An Israeli strike killed a guard and injured 10 patients at a Field Hospital in southern Gaza on Tuesday, according to the director of the medical facility.
Kuwait’s deadly attack for reasons of Specialty Field Hospital came two days after Israel’s attack on Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, one of the last medical centers in Gaza. Israel said the strike at Al Ahli Hospital is aimed at a Hamas command center without providing data.
On Tuesday, the Israeli army said he was considering reports on the strike at Kuwait’s experts Hospital.
Dr. Suhaib Al-Hamss, director of the Field Hospital, said the guard was killed by protecting the entrance of the facility. Four of the injured suffered serious injuries, he added.
“It was a strong strike,” said Dr. Al-Hamss, in a telephone interview. “Everything fell.”
The Israeli military attack on Gaza has caused huge damage to hospitals and the pocket healthcare system. The World Health Organization said last month that 33 of the 36 Gaza hospitals had been damaged during the war and that only 21 remained partly functional. He also warned on Saturday that hospitals in Gaza are facing a shortage of medicine because Israel has excluded a help of help for six weeks.
Israel has accused Hamas of taking advantage of the health facilities using them for military purposes – claims that the fighter team has refused.
Dr. Al-Hamss said the hospital’s position was known to the Israeli authorities, as he had been shared through intermediaries before the attack. He added that the staff had been checked and that Hamas’s government offices are not hosted in the medical facility.
“We do nothing more than the drug,” he said.
Kuwait’s Specialty Field Hospital has been treated at least 3,500 patients each day, according to Dr. Al-Hamss.
“The hospital,” he said, “provides a solution to people in the light of the collapse of Heath in Gaza.”
