The PlayStation Network, which users of the Sony Playstation platform are based on playing games, downloading content and access to applications, began working again on Saturday night after a 24 -hour break that left customers frustrated.
“All services are operating,” PlayStation announced on its website around 7 pm Saturday. Problems, which prevented many customers from “starting games, applications or network features”, mentioned for the first time at 7 pm On Friday, the company said.
“PSN has been restored”, the company’s support team was published at X at 6:58 pm Saturday. “You should have access to online functions without problems now.”
The company did not explain the cause of the interruption and did not respond immediately to an email looking for more information.
Issues influenced users of PlayStation’s most popular offers, including console and web products. Account management, gambling and social, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct were among the affected services.
PlayStation creates software and hardware, including extremely popular gambling console. Users play video games and perform applications such as Netflix, Spotify and YouTube through the PlayStation Network.
In social media, some users said they were able to use the PlayStation on Saturday afternoon, but many were still having problems at night.
During the interruption, some users reported that they were unable to play off -connection games, a proof of how serious the servers’ problems were, as offline games usually do not deal with the same issues that will sometimes experience online games.
As users complained about social media, other brands shot trolling messages.
“Call of all players: This game station is still working,” Krispy Kreme told X. Krispy Krememe offered free donuts for two hours on Saturday “because sweet rewards do not need a server”.
