While the slopes may still be open to much of North America, it’s time to think next season.
Large passes, including Epic and Ikon, as well as the smallest Mountain Collective, have recently announced sales for the 2025-26 season. Indy Pass has already completed its first sales, although the opportunities for buying it will probably reappear later.
Although Snowbrains Ski Ski found that most prices rose between 6 and 7 %, spring sales are when the passes are cheaper.
“Now is the time to save and go skiing for under $ 100 a day,” said Dan Sherman, head of marketing at ski.com, which offers skiing packages.
The term “Passes” has evolved to cover the products starting with one -day tickets and aiming for weaning skiers from the window on foot. Vail Resorts said its three -quarters of visitors last season used one of its epic passages, saving up to 65 % on window prices.
The strategy, Mr Sherman said, “is to get people locked early and reward them with reduced pricing.”
Here’s a look at the next season offers.
Epic passage
Despite a rough season of 2024-25 in which patrols at the Vail’s Park City Mountain Resort strike during the holiday season, Vail resorts broke the $ 1,000 dollars for the 2025-26 Epic Pass, now sold for $ 1,051. (Last year the passage started at $ 982 and ended at $ 1.107).
Pass offers unlimited access to Vail’s 42 resorts, such as Vail Mountain and Breckenridge in Colorado, Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia and Stowe in Vermond.
Next season, the Epic Pass will include five days at the Verbier 4 Vallées in Switzerland, with more than 250 miles of trips in six ski resorts.
Those who buy Epic Pass also receive discounts on lift tickets for friends. Passers, including those with daily passages, take 20 percent away from food, accommodation, tool rental and lessons.
At ski.com, Mr. Sherman counts more than 50 epic configurations in variables such as age and location. Epic Local Pass (now $ 783) offers more limited access to the Vail portfolio, but unlimited access to 29 resorts, including Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Keystone in Colorado.
Epic Day Passes, which can be purchased for intervals between one and seven days, starts at $ 47 to $ 100 a day, depending on the resort.
Vail will not say when prices will rise, but they tend to increase until they leave the sale. Last year the epic passages were available until December 2nd.
