A mysterious statue of a bearded man leaned his head to pastel shells, barnacles and other marine life drew the attention of two visitors. One of them, a young boy, gave a few words to a microphone, and suddenly the creatures began to fight and shine. An agreement on the gums, the Squawks and the sounds reminiscent of whale songs and the pipes of the pipes echoed through a forest of coral coral.
Lisa Hlavacek, 35, and her 3 -year -old son, Arthur, visited Radio Tave, the latest art event by the Meow Wolf team. It has been the sixth visit of Ms Hlavacek since it opened last October.
Meow Wolf, who started in 2008 as a relaxed collective artists in Santa Fe, NM, has evolved into a pop culture phenomenon with five permanent facilities and over three million in total annual visitors.
As visitors explore the Meow Wolf sites, playing with secret doors and experimenting with different objects, they unfold the mysterious stories back, discovering signs, hidden places and more than a few surprises.
A Los Angeles film is scheduled to open next year and the team announced plans for a New York site (which will include a “foreign arcade”) at the end of 2027 or 2028.
Ticket prices vary, but on average about $ 50 for adults and $ 37 for children. Schedule the budget at least two hours for your visit and once you are in, don’t be shy.

TAVE radio, a realistic but 30,000-square-foot ERSATZ radio station is transferred to another dimension (“Tave” means Hop dimensions in Meow Wolf-Speak), focuses on acoustic effects and melodic sound landscapes. Visitors can make their own sounds using conventional instruments such as Bongo drums in the station’s recording studio or unexpected interfaces, such as small IMPS statues or a complex control panel that hosts a lost, now digitized, home cat that will fly and go to the right.
