These dark days started almost five years ago.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared a pandemic and four days later, US states began ordering ending and travel restrictions.
By the end of the month, the European Union had banned unnecessary trips outside the block, cruise ships were under an order without a tie in US waters, and state rulers had issued home residence commands to prevent the virus from spreading. Unnecessary trips will be frozen for months.
After the Covid vaccines became widely available in the spring of 2021, travel began to recover, although with facial covers on airplanes and transport nodes. As the masks slowly came out and the borders were re -opened, travelers tried to offset the lost time, a phenomenon known as “revenge trips”.
The freezing was quickly converted into floods, such as hot spots such as Venice, Iceland, Barcelona and Croatian Dubrovnik, full of visitors. A lack of tourism suddenly became exaggerated and many destinations began to establish limitations and billing fees to prevent hordes.
For the past five years it has been a pretty adventure. We want to hear how these ups and downs have influenced your relationship with the journey.
We will read every answer to this questionnaire and arrive if we are interested in learning more about your story. We will not post any part of your answer without first following you and verify your details. And we will not share your contact details outside the Newsroom Times or use them for any reason other than getting in touch with you.
