Tesla reminds almost all of his futuristic cybertrucks, having found that an external table describes and created dangerous driving conditions, the company said on Thursday. This is the eighth recall for the model.
The recall of about 46,000 vehicles includes all the models made from November 13, 2023, when Cybertruck was first produced on February 27.
Since March 14, Tesla had identified 151 warranty allegations that may be related to the committee’s issue, according to the report, but the company said that “it was unaware of conflicts, deaths or injuries related to or related to the situation”.
The announcement marks one of the biggest recalls for Cybertrucks in the short and sometimes wrong story of the model on the street. Other issues with the famous model included the loss of power, the malfunction of the front center and the pedal accelerator wiper to stick. Cybertrucks sells for about $ 80,000 to $ 100,000, depending on the adjustment.
Tesla has told drivers that they can continue to drive their cybertrucks until the company contacted them for service appointments when the departments are available in their areas.
Tesla first knew reports on a “partial detachment” of the stainless steel table on January 7, the report said. The Appliqué cosmetic is known as the Cant Rail and is a “steel concentration” attached to a stainless steel panel with glue, the report said. Then the railway rail is placed on Cybertruck with fasteners. In affected vehicles, the panel is removed from the adhesive joint.
“If the stainless steel index from the vehicle cannot create a risk to follow motorists and increase the risk of injury or collision,” Tesla wrote.
The repair applied by the company will include the use of a different glue that is “not prone to environmental zone” and reinforced with a studded stud. Cybertrucks will still be updated at the factory and the new vehicles will start production on March 21 with resolution already in place, the company said.
The recall comes after recent failures for Tesla.
The company’s stock has lost almost half the value of this year, largely due to the reaction against Elon Musk, the company’s chief executive, who now oversees the cuts in federal spending for Trump’s administration. These cuts have pushed a number of Tesla owners to sell their vehicles in protest of Mr Musk’s values and policy. Others have taken on more aggressive forms of protest, including the removal and destruction of Tesla vehicles.
Tesla is facing increased competition from other electric vehicle manufacturers, despite being the largest electric vehicle manufacturer in the United States and has reached a $ 1 trillion dollar after the November elections.
