Polls, enrollment statistics, social media posts and education economists agree: We’re seeing a growing skepticism about college among many American teenagers and their parents.
Whether this is a short-term trend fueled by a strong labor market with many opportunities or a long-term shift will be important for the future of the workforce. It could also shape economic mobility, inequality and other aspects of the economy in the coming years.
That’s why we want to hear from people who have graduated from high school in recent years or are graduating in 2025. How are you thinking about your decision to attend college? What factors mattered to you, what did you decide, and how will you determine if you are happy with your decision?
